In this video, I show how to connect Google AppSheet to Zapier, making it easy to automate workflows between AppSheet and thousands of other apps using no-code tools. Zapier acts as a bridge that listens for events from AppSheet and then triggers actions in other tools such as Slack, Gmail, or Google Sheets.
The example I walk through involves an inventory management app in AppSheet. When a new order is placed for a specific vendor, I show how to trigger a Slack message using Zapier. This allows us to keep all the data in AppSheet while also sending real-time messages to a Slack channel for that vendor.
The video covers how to create a webhook in AppSheet, how to send data to Zapier, and how to build a Zap that receives that data and sends a Slack message. This is just one example of what’s possible when you connect AppSheet to Zapier. The same setup can be used to connect with many other apps to streamline your business processes.
