In this video we look at how to make automation in AppSheet reusable so we don’t have to rebuild the same steps again and again. The example shown is an uptime monitor app, but the real focus is on how to reuse automation components.
We start by looking at why reusability matters and how the building blocks of automation fit together. From there, we see how processes, events, and tasks can be shared across different parts of an app. We also look at some of the limits, like how shared items are tied to a specific table, and a simple workaround that lets us keep things flexible.

The big takeaway is that by making automation reusable, we save time, cut down on errors, and make our apps easier to maintain.
